One of the unspoken joys of parenthood is that children bring home a new virus from daycare every week. As a consequence, I often have to take emergency care or sick leave. If I am delayed in replying to emails, this is probably why.
While I can’t always let everyone know when I’m unavailable, I will keep this public absences calendar updated. You may consult it below.
- Day off: I currently work on an 80% basis, 4 days per week. My day off is usually Friday, but there are exceptions.
- Weekends, holidays and evenings: No access to email or work-related messages. Zurich time.
- Care leave: Child is home sick, and I am looking after them. No access to email. I may be able to reply to quick messages.
- Sick leave: Usually a few days after care leave, depending on luck and the germ’s incubation period. If I log it, I am too sick to attend to work tasks (email and messages).
- Work trips: Limited access to email. If you are in the region and would like to meet, reach out!
